Great opportunity: offshore rigger (Indiana)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Adams County, Indiana. The job is in a heavy machinery workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear What we are looking for: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness Rotating shifts.
