Cnc turning machinist — Brantley County

Join our team: we are hiring a cnc turning machinist in Brantley County, Georgia. You will work in a precision engineering workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part Requirements: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code $19 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
