Trowel-trade bricklayer wanted in Long County

Now hiring: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Long County, Georgia. You will work on a scaffolded high-rise site. You will buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters. Requirements: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks 5+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $29 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
