Safety marshal — Schoharie County

Now hiring: we are hiring a safety marshal in Schoharie County, New York. You will work at a busy construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $4,700 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
