MIG welder • Lincoln County, Maine

Great opportunity: we are hiring a MIG welder in Lincoln County, Maine. You will work on a structural steel site. You will strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints. Requirements: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Willing to work shifts and overtime At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
