Immediate opening: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Oakland County, Michigan. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal You will cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities.
