Now hiring: crane rigger (Virginia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a crane rigger in Orange County, Virginia. You will check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $5,000 per project, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
