UPVC door and window fabricator — Currituck County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an uPVC door and window fabricator in Currituck County, North Carolina. You will work at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. On a typical shift you will fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam; glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square; check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile; fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails. What we are looking for: • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
