Horizontal milling machine operator wanted in Polk County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Polk County, Texas. You will be based at a busy machine shop. Requirements: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience Day to day you will set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery.
