Immediate opening: stainless steel welder (Georgia)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Jones County, Georgia. You will work in a pharmaceutical piping facility. On the job you will handle: • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) Requirements: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day 4+ years on the tools preferred.
