Falsework carpenter wanted in Etowah County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Etowah County, Alabama. The job is on a metro and tunnel project. You will box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour. Ideal candidate: • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Able to read formwork and structural drawings Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
