We are recruiting: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Hartley County, Texas. The job is at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. You will select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through. Requirements: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off.
