Lift mechanic — New York County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lift mechanic in New York County, New York. The job is at a busy lift company. What we are looking for: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate Your main tasks: • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes Six days a week, one day off.
