Now hiring: we are hiring a bench joiner in Monroe County, New York. You will work on a busy construction site. You should have: • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers On the job you will handle: • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet Full-time, day shift.
