Moulder wanted in Sauk County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a moulder in Sauk County, Wisconsin. You will work in a non-ferrous casting shop. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Day-to-day duties: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
