Urgent requirement: we are hiring a construction helper in Derbyshire, England. You will work on a building construction site. Ideal candidate: • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker On the job you will handle: • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer Six days a week, one day off. £2,350 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
