Refrigeration technician • Sangamon County, Illinois

Great opportunity: we are hiring a refrigeration technician in Sangamon County, Illinois. You will be based in an HVAC service company. The role involves charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight; measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter; check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge; read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges; install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets; braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch. Ideal candidate: • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
