Vacancy available: we are hiring a painter and decorator in Los Angeles County, California. The job is in a factory paint shop. On the job you will handle: • Mix and tint paint to match colour swatches • Mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting • Measure up and work out paint and material quantities • Fill cracks and nail holes with filler and caulk the gaps • Apply textured and weatherproof masonry coatings to exterior walls • Lay down dust sheets and protect floors and furniture Requirements: • A good eye for clean lines and an even finish • Able to mix and colour-match paints accurately • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
