Vacancy available: we are hiring a tile installer in Vermilion Parish, Louisiana. You will work on a new-build housing development. Day to day you will fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even; cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter; match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls; make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits; grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge; run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints. Requirements: • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • 2+ years' hands-on tiling experience • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
