You will press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents.
