Join our team: gtaw welder (Kentucky)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Greenup County, Kentucky. On the job you will handle: • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions You should have: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) We offer $3,400 per month plus benefits.
