Now hiring: we are hiring an argon welder in Ile Oluji/Okeigbo, Ondo State. Ideal candidate: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Able to pass a weld test on the spot Your main tasks: • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing Full-time, day shift.
