QC inspector — Newport

Great opportunity: we are hiring a QC inspector in Newport, Wales. Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing On a typical shift you will draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch; carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
