Concrete shuttering carpenter • Argyll and Bute, Scotland

We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete shuttering carpenter in Argyll and Bute, Scotland. On a typical shift you will de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs. You should have: • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
