Vacancy available: production welder (Idaho)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a production welder in Jerome County, Idaho. You will be based at an automobile body shop. Day-to-day duties: • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances Part-time with flexible hours.
