Shuttering and concrete hand • Scott County, Tennessee

Great opportunity: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Scott County, Tennessee. You will be based on a high-rise slab pour. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Day-to-day duties: • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
