Now hiring: we are hiring a paint booth operator in Chariton County, Missouri. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting Day-to-day duties: • Run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches • Inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches • Keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
