Immediate opening: we are hiring a civil works labourer in Lawrence County, Illinois. The job is on a residential housing site. On the job you will handle: • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction Requirements: • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it 1+ years on the tools preferred.
