Advanced scaffolder — Cambria County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an advanced scaffolder in Cambria County, Pennsylvania. You will be based on a bridge maintenance job. Day to day you will plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level; inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use; handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out; tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner; fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid; fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform. Ideal candidate: • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang • CISRS card or local equivalent at Part 1 / Part 2 level • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns Full-time, day shift.
