Plant operator • Dorchester County, Maryland

Vacancy available: we are hiring a plant operator in Dorchester County, Maryland. You will work on a busy civils and groundworks site. Day-to-day duties: • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient Requirements: • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) We offer $26 per hour plus benefits.
