Precision welder wanted in Walworth County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a precision welder in Walworth County, South Dakota. Your main tasks: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges You should have: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection 6+ years on the tools preferred.
