Garment machinist — Bannock County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a garment machinist in Bannock County, Idaho. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams On the job you will handle: • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
