Immediate opening: stainless steel welder (England)

Join our team: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Norfolk, England. The job is in a pharmaceutical piping facility. Day to day you will control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
