Urgent requirement: in-process quality controller (Mississippi)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an in-process quality controller in Union County, Mississippi. The job is in a metal fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade On the job you will handle: • Log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $5,100 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
