Lawn care technician — Shenandoah County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lawn care technician in Shenandoah County, Virginia. You will be based in a botanical garden. The role involves: • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs Ideal candidate: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
