We are recruiting: refrigeration field service technician (North Carolina)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a refrigeration field service technician in Johnston County, North Carolina. The job is in an AC and refrigeration showroom. On a typical shift you will check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil; pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture; fault-find control boards and defrost timers; replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves; recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution. Ideal candidate: • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
