Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Franklin County, Georgia. The role involves: • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job Ideal candidate: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight 6+ years on the tools preferred.
