Frame straightening technician — Addison County

Now hiring: we are hiring a frame straightening technician in Addison County, Vermont. The job is in a collision repair centre. Your main tasks: • Buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections • Check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull • Pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains • Mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray Ideal candidate: • Able to set up and use a frame/jig straightening bench • Physically fit for lifting panels, bending and kneeling • Comfortable working with dust, noise and spray fumes Rotating shifts.
