Great opportunity: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Pend Oreille County, Washington. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. The role involves check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman. You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Full-time with occasional weekends.
