Join our team: we are hiring a track-type tractor operator in Poweshiek County, Iowa. The job is on a quarry floor. Day-to-day duties: • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Refuel the machine and record running hours • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil Requirements: • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant 4+ years on the tools preferred.
