Tig welder — Pennington County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tig welder in Pennington County, Minnesota. You will be based at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Ideal candidate: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Day to day you will set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle.
