Join our team: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Wood County, Wisconsin. You will be based in a metal fabrication workshop. On the job you will handle: • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Record output and downtime on the production sheet You should have: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses 1+ years on the tools preferred.
