Urgent requirement: argon welding operator (Utah)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Carbon County, Utah. You will be based at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Day to day you will grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel. Ideal candidate: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
