Quality assurance assistant • Lawrence County, Arkansas

Great opportunity: we are hiring a quality assurance assistant in Lawrence County, Arkansas. You will be based at a busy manufacturing plant. On the job you will handle: • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans • Raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift Ideal candidate: • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols • Willing to work rotating and night shifts Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
