Lift maintenance fitter wanted in Mathews County

Join our team: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Mathews County, Virginia. You will be based on a lift modernisation project. You will rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; run load and overload tests with test weights; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays. Requirements: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
