Structural MIG welder • Mercer County, Kentucky

Vacancy available: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Mercer County, Kentucky. You will be based at a steel fabrication workshop. On the job you will handle: • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls You should have: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
