Offshore rigger — Ibesikpo Asutan

Great opportunity: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Ibesikpo Asutan, Akwa Ibom State. You will work in a steel fabrication yard. Ideal candidate: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles Day-to-day duties: • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks Rotating shifts.
