Great opportunity: we are hiring a steam press operator in Sherman County, Texas. You will work at a textile finishing unit. What we are looking for: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory You will use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
