Powder coater — Decatur County

Join our team: we are hiring a powder coater in Decatur County, Georgia. The job is in a busy paint shop. Ideal candidate: • Able to stand long shifts and lift parts up to 20 kg • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process The role involves: • Mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape • Hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage • Inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches • Pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
