Tyre technician — Prince George County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tyre technician in Prince George County, Virginia. You will be based in a commercial truck tyre depot. Requirements: • Confident operating a tyre changer and wheel balancer • Punctual and willing to work weekends • Basic record-keeping and customer-facing skills Day-to-day duties: • Remove and refit hub caps and locking wheel nuts • Torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench • Handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies • Demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine • Keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
